Description: | This five-week project will include the preparation and analysis of animal cell nuclei, the analysis of chromatin structure using nucleases, and the analysis of nuclear proteins by gel electrophoresis. Differences between the chromatin structure of an active and an inactive gene will be examined using Southern blotting. |
