| Description: | Specific topics will vary by section and over time, but all versions of E103 will meet the objectives of the SOAS TOPICS curriculum. The curriculum is open to freshmen who will learn how scholars from the arts and humanities distribution area frame questions, propose answers, and assess the validity of competing approaches. Writing and communication skills are integrated in the course. It's the same as Coas BE103. The BE just stands for Block enrollment and means that it is attached to another class (usually English Comp or Speech). |
