Description: (EAS 525) This course has required class trips. Students will pay individual lodging or meal expenses where necessary. A study of the physical nature of the lowest layers of the atmosphere. The energy balance concept and the turbulent transfer of heat, momentum, and water vapor are discussed in detail. Some specific microclimates are studied in this context.
