Description: This course will cover selected topics in both plant and animal physiology: photosynthesis; respiration; nutrition; solute and water transport; plant and animal hormones; neural control in animals; osmoregulation; and reproduction. Some of the laboratory time will be devoted to small group discussions. This course is open only to science majors. Instructor's permission is required for non-biology majors.
