Description: | Principles and practice of modern gas and liquid chromatography are developed from an integrated point of view. Emphasis is placed on those features useful in practical analytical separations. Instrumentation is described and evaluated using chemical examples from recent literature. Although column techniques are emphasized, thin-layer chromatography and electrophoresis methods also are described. Offered in alternate years. Prerequisite: CHM 42400. |
