Description: This course focuses on relationships between teachers and families in early childhood settings. Included in this course are issues related to cultural, linguistic, economic, and developmental differences that may affect relations between families and teachers, and practices aimed at strengthening the role of parents and families in relations with early childhood programs. Students have the opportunity to design practices aimed at developing and maintaining effective partnerships with families.
