Description: Theory and practical application of a variety of experimental techniques used in plant science research. These will include control of environmental parameters during plant growth using growth chambers, water relations, microscopic techniques, hormone measurements, kinetics of herbicide uptake, chromatography, spectrophotometry, and analysis of proteins and nucleic acids from plants. Offered in alternate years.
