Description: | Intensive personal preparation for communication in selling. Students receive instruction in communication skills, focusing on listening and on both verbal and non-verbal presentation skills. The focus is on transactional selling (short-term sales). Throughout the semester, students practice interaction skills in role-played selling situations. All sessions are videotaped, and students view and critique their own performance in conference with the instructor. Students also complete a personal development project designed to enhance their personal readiness to enter a selling career. |
