Description: This course utilizes the nursing process in the investigation of complex or multiple health problems with unpredictable outcomes. Emphasis is placed on principles of nursing science and advanced techniques of nursing practice for the holistic care of adults. Concepts related to immune disorders, basic life support, mechanical ventilation, life threatening arrhythmia detection, and multiple intravenous access management are introduced.
