Short Title: High Temperature Alloy
Description: Theory of alloying and the relationship among temperature, structure, and mechanical properties in nickel, cobalt, and iron base alloys are presented. Effects of thermomechanical processing are shown. Analysis of microstructures by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and X-ray microprobe are discussed. Offered in alternate years.
