Description: The community as a setting for the provision of health care is examined. Biostatistics are utilized in the study of epidemiological concepts as they relate to the community. Environmental, cultural, social and political influences are analyzed to evaluate community health. Traditional and evolving community health nursing roles are explored to determine the impact of these roles on changing health care delivery systems.
