Description: Through a clinical preceptorship, students are guided in an in-depth exploration of a self-selected area of professional nursing practice. The professional nursing roles of collaborator, change agent, leader, manager and utilizer of research are implemented. Concepts of critical thinking, responsibility, accountability, autonomy and decision making are analyzed in relation to professional nursing roles.
