Description: | The theory and design of real-time robot control systems implemented on microprocessor systems are presented. The lectures and laboratory experiments acquaint students with the fundamental concepts of robotics such as transformations, kinematics, trajectory generation schemes, robot dynamics, and control schemes. Additional topics such as simultaneous robot force-position control schemes and the operations of sensor-based robot assembly systems also will be covered. |
