Short Title: Diagnostic Imaging I
Description: The overall objective of this course is to introduce the concepts of diagnostic imaging and clinical applications as relevant to the practice of pharmacy. Basic principles applicable to instrumentation, the design of diagnostic imaging drugs, and clinical concepts are emphasized. In addition to specific diagnostic drugs and therapeutic adjuncts used with various imaging modalities, the advantages and limitations of each modality are presented.
