Description: Independent laboratory work with a variety of research-oriented techniques, with emphasis on quantitative results consistent with the precision of the method, ph, buffer preparation and properties, radiation measurement and properties, quantitative and qualitative chromatography on paper and ion exchange resins, colorimetric analysis of individual components and mixtures, differential centrifuging, microscopy, electrophoresis, cell and particle counting. (Credit will not be given for both BIOL 290 and 390.)
