Description: An introduction to the ways in which geologic processes and materials interact with human activities, with an emphasis on understanding how environmental geoscience is used in real-world decision making. The geologic aspects of a range of environmental issues, including: energy resources, air and water pollution, flooding, landslides, earthquakes, water supply, waste disposal, environmental law, and global climate change will be discussed.
