Material will deal with critiques of industrialized societies, mechanisms and processes of social change, and visions of alternative futures. Specific works examined may include samples from socialist, humanist, existentialist, neo-Freudian, anarchist, and utopian writers as well as relevant materials from contemporary American radical and black movements. |
