Description: Devoted to the study and development of techniques for the behavioral analysis of the judicial process, with individual research concentrated on trial or appellate operations, and on federal or local judicial systems, according to the interests of the seminar members. Both the workings of the judicial machinery and its effects on the rest of the political system will be considered. Students will normally prepare papers based on judicial statistics, case reports, or actual observation of judicial behavior.
