Description: | This advanced course covers the econometrics and statistical methods needed to study data on individual agents in general qualitative response models and models of limited dependent variables. Special emphasis is placed on applying the alternate estimation and inference techniques to actual or simulated datasets. Topics include: univariate binary models, multinomial and multivariate qualitative response models, choice based sampling, distribution-free estimation methods, and Tobit models. Prerequisite: ECON 67200. |
