The Center for Instructional Excellence (CIE) advances and promotes transformative, evidence-based instruction for academic success at Purdue and beyond. Under the direction of the Office of the Provost, CIE works with faculty, graduate teaching assistants, and staff to support innovative teaching in all modalities and foster a campus culture of student-centered learning.

Experiential education is a planned pedagogy centering on an authentic experience to strengthen students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities, paired with student reflection. The Office of Experiential Education is focused on undergraduate experiences and is inclusive of both credit-bearing and co-curricular experiences.

Academic Success Center

Academic Success Center
The Helen Bass Williams Academic Success Center (ASC) provides a variety of academic support services for undergraduate students at Purdue. Students are welcome to use the space for open study during open hours when there is not a SI session or prescheduled event taking place.

Military and Veteran Success Services
The Purdue Veteran and Military Success Center provides a comprehensive suite of wrap-around support services for Purdue University’s students who are veterans, members of the military, or benefit-using family members.
