Title IX
Title IX is a federal law that requires Universities to provide an environment free from gender-based harassment and discrimination for all members of the university community.
Title IX Coordinator
Each Purdue campus has a designated Title IX Coordinator. Purdue’s Title IX Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the University’s compliance with Title IX, including overseeing all complaints of sex discrimination, including sexual harassment and sexual violence, and identifying and addressing any patterns or systemic problems that arise during the review of such complaints.
Report an Incident
Impacted Parties should use these forms to initiate a formal investigation or request an informal dispute resolution (such as a No Contact Directive). Complaint forms cannot be filed by friends, family, or teachers of the Impacted Party.
Supportive Measures and Resources
The Title IX Coordinator can assist students in arranging on-campus accommodations with faculty members, housing staff, or other units. Students may contact the Title IX office directly to request assistance. Students who wish to speak to discuss options with an advocate before contacting the Title IX office may contact professional staff from CARE.
