New and Revised Rate Update Information
- New & Revised Rates
- As shared in the July 18, 2023 Business@Purdue News, effective August 1, 2023, the Costing Office took on the responsibility for maintaining the correct rates in iLab. This change was made to ensure iLab rates were based on the most current approved rates, matching our rate documentation and thereby minimize audit risk to the university.
- New Equipment/Services
- The responsibility to enter new equipment/service lines into iLab remains with the iLab core administrators. Core administrators should enter the new equipment/service lines into iLab in a “non-active” status (entering all information except price) as soon as rates begin routing for approval. This proactive step will avoid last-minute changes that can be difficult, if not impossible, to implement on the published billing cycle. This step will ensure that when the new rates are fully approved and entered by the Costing Office, the rates will be ready for immediate billing. Business offices with recharge activities are asked to encourage core administrators to complete this proactive task in a timely manner. For assistance with these processes, please contact ilabhelp@purdue.edu.
