Program Information
Through the Engineering Undergraduate Research Office (EURO), Purdue undergraduates are invited to participate in first-time research opportunities during the spring semester. Eligible students have completed less than a full-semester (including summer) of college-level research. Researchers receive a $1,000 stipend to engage approximately 10 hours per week in research labs. Please note - at least one individual in the faculty/student pair should be afiliated with Engineering. Students who do not have an Engineering affiliation will only be able to apply to projects hosted by Engineering faculty. Meanwhile, Engineering afiliated students are able to apply to any project. The prefix "INDY:" has been added to any project being hosted on the Indianapolis campus. There will be no compensation provided for travel between locations and it is generally expected that West Lafayette students only apply to West Lafayette positions, and Indianapolis students only apply to Indianapolis projects unless the mentor and mentee come to an agreement for how they will successfully complete the project without significant disruption to the student's academic responsibilities.
