Project Zebrafish genetic research Program Agriculture Term Academic Year 2024 Status Closed Research Area Developmental biology and genetics Description The research is to evaluate genetically encoded voltage and calcium sensors in zebrafish. The ultimate goal of this project is to study the functions of cellular voltage during development and cancer. Supervisor GuangJun Zhang Mentor Type of work required The student will conduct research with a graduate student in the lab. In addition, the student will have an opportunity to learn the zebrafish model system for biomedical research.
