AI based Walkability Assistant DUIRI - Discovery Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Research Internship Summer 2025 Accepted Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models, Software Engineering This project proposes the development of an AI-based Walkability Assistant, a personalized, real-time mobile application designed to enhance walkability and public health by integrating adaptive technology with social and behavioral insights. The app will leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to provide personalized walking experiences tailored to individual health profiles, real-time environmental conditions, and personal preferences. By incorporating both psychological engagement strategies and social motivation, the app aims to promote sustained walking habits, improve physical health outcomes, and create healthier urban communities.
