Faculty promotions at Purdue gain board's approval

Purdue University's Board of Trustees today (April 21) approved faculty promotions. The promotions are effective with the 2017-18 academic year.

Trustees approve several actions in meeting on Fort Wayne campus

Purdue’s Board of Trustees today (April 21) met on the Fort Wayne campus and approved several items that included the purchase of equipment for the Wade Utility Plant, a land transfer to the city of West Lafayette, a doctoral degree at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, resolutions of appreciation to friends of the university, and two posthumous degrees.

Trustees approve new name for Fort Wayne campus

Purdue’s Board of Trustees today (April 21) approved a resolution to designate Purdue University Fort Wayne as the new name for the campus that will arise from the planned realignment process. The name change is pending approval of the realignment by the Higher Learning Commission.
