Dawn or Doom '17 kicks off todayDawn or Doom '17, a free conference examining risks and rewards of emerging technologies, takes place Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 26-27) with presentations from leading national authorities and Purdue researchers. The conference highlights aspects of designing the world we live in, including bioengineering and human design, "smart" cities and autonomous vehicles, plant engineering and gene editing, "fake news" and virtual reality, and artificial intelligence and robotics.
