Akridge named Purdue provost, executive VP for academic affairs and diversity

President Mitch Daniels on Tuesday (Nov. 7) announced that Jay Akridge has been named the University's provost and executive vice president for academic affairs and diversity, effective immediately. Akridge has served in the position in an interim capacity since July 1.

Testing at Elliott Hall

Nearly 400 students 'test drive' math exam to experience Elliott Hall testing environment

Purdue’s Academic Success Center recently piloted a workshop allowing students to "test drive" a math exam in Elliott Hall of Music. Nearly 400 students voluntarily completed the mock exam, and plans are underway to offer similar practice tests in the future.
