License plate recognition system to replace parking permits in fall 2018

Beginning in August, Parking Facilities will be transitioning to a license plate recognition system on the West Lafayette campus. With the implementation of this new system, a vehicle's license plate will serve as the means of identification for parking enforcement, taking the place of the permits currently in use.

Purdue community celebrates strong United Way campaign

Purdue faculty, staff, retirees and students once again showed deep commitment to the annual Purdue United Way Campaign, raising $781,356 this fall. On Wednesday (Nov. 15), Purdue volunteers and community UW leaders gathered to celebrate the effort as the campaign ended.
