What’s new? A recap, review and more shared on HealthSync network

As of Jan. 1, Purdue employees and dependents covered on a Purdue health plan have had the option of using providers within the HealthSync network. Whether or not faculty and staff use HealthSync is up to the individual; it’s simply another option to help people save money and better manage their health care dollars as a wise health care consumer.

A new study shows that having a smartphone and social media accounts is not reliably or strongly linked to adolescents’ math and reading test scores, school belonging, psychological distress, conduct problems or physical health. However, many adolescents, especially those from lower socio-economic backgrounds, are reporting technology-related problems.
