Pfizer booster shots available on campus to eligible recipients of COVID vaccines from other manufacturers

Following updated guidance and approval by the FDA, individuals who were vaccinated against COVID-19 with any COVID-19 vaccine that has received FDA Emergency Use Authorization or WHO approval — including the Moderna (two doses) or Johnson & Johnson (single dose) vaccines — may now choose to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 booster shot at the campus vaccine clinic.

Microbes' sense of community, cooperation could improve biofuels

Microorganisms can be neighborly – when breaking down complex plant fibers, they divide the labor and are able to sustain a diverse community, as each member gets its share of food. Understanding how they are able to adapt in this way could lead to improved biofuels processes and is the focus of a new $2 million project at Purdue.
