Purdue University’s College of Agriculture has been recognized as the No. 3 college of agriculture in North America and No. 5 in the world in the 2023 QS World University Rankings. Inaugurated in 2004, QS World Rankings are one of the world’s most frequented and respected sources of comparative data about universities. In 2022, Purdue Agriculture was identified as No. 4 in North America, and No. 8 in the world.
A Department of Energy team, led by U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk, together with National Science Foundation representatives from its Engineering Education and Centers division and Purdue partners met in March at the University of São Paulo Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo to highlight Brazil-U.S. collaborations in the area of energy.
Edna Greene Medford, vice president of the Abraham Lincoln Institute and professor emeritus at Howard University, will be the featured guest for the CCSE Conversation with Brian Lamb. The event, hosted by the Center for C-SPAN Scholarship & Engagement and the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Purdue, will take place on April 5 in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall.
In January 2023, Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP) was rebranded to Purdue Information Technology (Purdue IT). The name change aligns with a restructuring of IT areas across the Purdue system into one unified organization, known collectively as Purdue IT, providing scalable services that are secure, efficient and reliable.
As a newer employee to Purdue working through the procurement system, I have found Susan Manns (Procurement Services) to be very responsive when it comes to answering questions and providing guidance, which has been extremely helpful.
