In the absence of a building deputy, Pat Jaynes and Jun Wu (both Animal Sciences) have stepped up to assist with ordering supplies, organizing necessary repairs, placing work order requests and assisting wherever in our second-and-third-floor lab spaces. Both of them have been instrumental in promoting a culture of safety in the lab space and making sure that our self-audits and ISP recertification are completed in a timely manner. As interim building deputy, I deeply appreciate Pat and Jun for their assistance in taking care of the needs of the Department of Animal Sciences. – Marion Welsh (Animal Sciences)
