Purdue University has once again attained international acclaim, earning a top-10 spot among the most prominent and recognized universities worldwide in the Global University Visibility (GUV) rankings. In the rankings, conducted by the Washington, D.C.-based firm American Caldwell, Purdue is the only university from the state of Indiana to make the list, coming in at No. 3 among U.S. public universities and No. 10 globally, and ahead of institutions such as the University of Cambridge, Yale University and UCLA.
Current trends in environmental degradation will lead to large economic losses in the coming decades, hitting the poorest countries hardest, according to a new study led by Purdue and the University of Minnesota. The study also finds that investing in nature can turn those losses into gains.
