Purdue has received $2.7 million in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service to develop a field test that can measure and predict the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in a wide range of wildlife and farm animals.
Purdue’s Department of Theatre opened its 2023–24 mainstage season last week with “El Mito or the Myth of My Pain.” The show continues through Oct. 1 with performances in the Nancy T. Hansen Theatre in Pao Hall. A complete list of dates and times can be found on the Purdue Theatre website.
Drive-thru flu shots at the Center for Healthy Living begin Wednesday (Sept. 27). Seasonal flu shots, which support the physical health pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program, are provided annually at no charge to all benefits-eligible Purdue faculty and staff, as well as spouses and dependents covered on a Purdue health plan.
