Most consumers would choose brand-name beverages over generic or store-brand beverages, according to the September 2023 Consumer Food Insights Report. The report further indicates that consumers make this choice even when presented with a sizable price discount on generic or store brand names. The survey-based report out of Purdue’s Center for Food Demand Analysis and Sustainability assesses food spending, consumer satisfaction and values, support of agricultural and food policies, and trust in information sources.
Purdue University, through the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue, will host Nathaniel C. Dan Kiermaier, a turf science graduate, first stepped onto Chicago’s Wrigley Field as a fan in 1998. Now, he stands on that same field in official Cubs gear as he manages one of America’s most iconic baseball fields. He calls it a dream job that "Purdue was a big part of." Preserving Wrigley Field’s history is something that Kiermaier and his team take seriously as they work to provide a safe atmosphere for the athletes.
