Flood and tornado recovery resources available on Web site

Purdue Agricultural Communications maintains a Web site titled "Indiana Disaster Recovery Resources. "With the floods, high winds and tornadoes that have caused problems for many Hoosiers, this Web site provides a number of problem-solving answers.

WHERE: This Web site, Disaster Recovery Resources for Indiana. Specifically, the site contains two sections with educational resources that may be pertinent to media audiences:

Tornadoes, contains resources on how to deal with nature's fury before and after the storm. Sample resources include:

• Tornado safety tips
• Money and crisis
• How the public can help after a disaster
• Wind damaged structures/trees
• Helping children cope with stress

Flood & Storms, contains resources ranging from how to locate your house on a flood map to how to stay safe during a flood. Sample resources include:

• First steps to flood recovery
• Where to test your water in Indiana
• Cleaning and disinfecting your home
• How to prevent and remove mildew
• Safety at the flood site
