October 20, 2004 Comedian Daniel Tosh to perform at PurdueWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Daniel Tosh will bring his casual style of comedy to Indiana, courtesy of the Purdue Student Union Board at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 4, in the Purdue Memorial Union North Ballroom.
Tosh performs at more than 100 campuses a year, where he said audiences appreciate his sharp material. Stand-up comedy is his primary passion, but he also lists interests in surfing, snowboards, acting, hosting and writing. He has been invited to perform at comedy festivals throughout the world, including Montreal, Ireland and New Zealand. He made his network debut on the "Late Show with David Letterman" in 2001, and he had his first stand-up special on Comedy Central the following year. Other television credits include VH-1's "The List," FX's "The Test," Comedy Central's "Friday Night Stand-up" & "Premium Blend," E! Network's "Wild On" & "Rank," NBC's "Late Friday," and Jimmy Kimmel "Live." Tickets are $15 for the general public and $10 for students with Purdue I.D. and can be purchased until Nov. 4 from the Loeb Box Office in Stewart Center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., (765) 494-3933.
