The 11-inch by 17-inch gold and black poster reads: "Boiler up! Rev it up!" "We wanted to provide the fans with an appropriate poster to express school spirit and pride," said David Brannan, director of Purdue Marketing Communications. Brannan's staff designed the posters, which are sponsored by the offices of University Relations and Athletic Public Relations. The free posters are available to fans between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at these campus locations: Mackey Arena, Room 60; Purdue's Visitor Information Center, 504 Northwestern Ave.; the Purdue Marketing Communications office, South Campus Courts-D; and the Purdue Alumni Association office, located in the Dick and Sandy Dauch Alumni Center. The Visitor Information Center also is open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. The Boilermakers (7-5, 3-5 Big Ten) will face the Central Michigan Chippewas from the Mid-American Conference. Central Michigan has an 8-5 overall record, including a 35-10 victory over Miami (Ohio) in the MAC championship game at Ford Field. Purdue and Central Michigan met earlier this season, with the Boilermakers posting a 45-22 victory at Ross-Ade Stadium on Sept. 15. The teams are scheduled to meet again in West Lafayette on Sept. 13, 2008. Head coach Joe Tiller will take his 10th Purdue team to postseason play in 11 seasons. This is the Boilermakers 15th bowl game in school history. Tickets are priced at $45 and $60 each and can be ordered through the Purdue Athletic Ticket Office by phone (494-3194 or 800-49-SPORT) or online at https://www.purduesports.com.
