Purdue Veterinary Medicine hosts an annual Veterinary Nursing Symposium to provide a continuing education opportunity for veterinary assistants, veterinary nursing (technology) students, and veterinary nurses (technicians and technologists) to:

  • Learn practical information to use in clinical practice with a variety of lecture topics centered on both small and large animal topics.
  • Develop a professional network! Meet others that share a passion for continuing education and strive to be the very best as you network with colleagues from veterinary facilities throughout Indiana and surrounding states.
  • Meet faculty and staff of Purdue Veterinary Medicine.

Past attendees cited this symposium as "extremely valuable," commenting on the high quality of speakers, practicality of the topics and the great value for the cost.

The Vet Shoppe will be accepting pre-orders that can be picked up at the symposium between 11:30 am -1:30 pm.  Visit vetshoppe.square.site and pre-order by March 9.  Select Store Pick-Up and then leave a note indicating pick up at the veterinary nursing symposium.
