Frequently Asked Questions about the Selection Process

Class of 1937 Scholarship

• The deadline for submitting applications and other required materials for the Class of 1937 Scholarship is 5 p.m. (EST) on January 14^th, 2026.
• Recommendations supporting your application must be submitted online by 5 p.m. (EST) on January 21^st, 2026.
• The individuals you indicated as having agreed to provide the recommendations will receive an email containing a link to the online form (Qualtrics). 
• Applicants selected to receive a Class of 1937 Scholarship will be notified by the Division of Financial Aid. The scholarship will be listed as part of their financial aid package for 2026-2027.

Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award

• The deadline for submitting the application for the Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award is 5 p.m. (EST) on January 19th, 2026.
• Recommendations are not required for the Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award.
• Applicants selected to receive the Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award will be notified no later than April 1, 2026.
