International Collegiate evGrandPrix Series

The International Collegiate evGrandPrix Series uses innovation and development to put academic and racing skills to the test. The competition will be held each May. This is an all-electric series, where the karts must be the "sprint kart" type and use lithium ion or other alternative energy battery packs combined with state-of-the-art electric drivetrain systems.

Academic competition categories

Energy efficiency — finishing the race using the least amount of power

Community outreach — changing the perception of electric vehicles, as documented by a portfolio

Design review — unique characteristics of kart designs, including the battery system and drivetrain

Race placement — final placement numbers

You can get ready for the race by sending an email to express your interest to Danny White. You then need to register with the Worlding Karting Association (WKA).
