• What are ME scholarships?  Do these funds need to be repaid?

  ME scholarships are financial awards that do not need to be repaid.  Thanks to support from our Alumni and Donors, ME is proud to offer an array of scholarships for our students.

• When does the ME scholarship application open?

  Monday, February 3rd

• When does the ME scholarship application close?

  Friday, March 14th

• Do I need to apply to specific ME scholarships?

  No!  The process is simple.  You will need to complete one scholarship application, in full, to be considered for ME scholarships.

• When will I receive a decision about my ME scholarship application?

  Students who receive ME scholarship funding will receive a decision by late June.  The decision will be sent to your Purdue University email address.

• When will I receive the ME scholarship funds?

  ME scholarships are awarded for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.  Scholarship funds are disbursed by the Division of Financial Aid (DFA) before the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.

• What if I apply but do not receive a ME scholarship?

  Please apply again in the future!  Scholarship decisions are based on a holistic review that includes reviews of GPA, a career essay, and a perseverance essay.

• I am graduating in December.  Am I still eligible to apply?

  Yes!  While most ME scholarships are disbursed between both the Fall and Spring semesters, if you are graduating in December, your funding may be disbursed fully in the Fall semester.
