CIGP Admissions
Who should apply?
Computational Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (CIGP) accepts students who have already been admitted to an associated degree-granting department at Purdue University. CIGP is not a degree-granting program. Both MS and PhD students may apply to CIGP once admissions to a degree-granting department is accepted.
Why should current Purdue University students apply?
Students will become a part of an interdisciplinary computational sciences community, which will open networking opportunities with faculty and students. Students will learn computational science and data science methods by taking courses appropriate for their research. In the end, students will obtain a concentration in computational sciences that appears on their official academic transcript.
Application Process
Program applications are accepted all year but are only reviewed after the provided deadlines. To be considered for the program, applicants must submit the below application to the CIGP Office, either in-person or by emailing an electronic copy to cigp@purdue.edu. All applications will be reviewed once the deadline passes. The CIGP application is for both CSE and CLS concentrations.
