Funding Opportunities
Graduate Students admitted to the INSC program may pursue financial support through fellowships offered by the The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars (OGSPS), grants, teaching assistantships from their home department, and/or research assistantships from grants received by their major professor.
A funding overview can be found through OGSPS. Students are encouraged to explore the many opportunities offered here at Purdue. There are several types of funding available, such as assistantships, fellowships, grants, scholarships, and loans/financial aid.
Fellowship and Assistantship Opportunities
Fellowships are available through the University and are awarded based on academic merit. At Purdue there are two types of fellowships: OGSPS managed fellowships and outside fellowships.

- NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program - Applicants must be a US citizen and in their final year at their undergraduate institution or their first two years of graduate study.
