Requirements

In order to qualify for the admission to the Inclusive Excellence Graduate Certificate Program, you must meet the requirements provided online by the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars. Details for all requirements are also provided below:

  1. Online Application
  2. Transcript from Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution
  3. Minimum undergraduate or graduate GPA of 3.0/4.0 with the possibility of conditional admission for applicants who do not meet this requirement
  4. CV/Resume
  5. Statement of Purpose
  6. One Letter of Recommendation
  7. English Proficiency (Non-native English speaking international applicants) choose a test below:
    • TOEFL: Internet-Based Test (IBT): Minimum Overall Required Score: 80
      • Minimum section requirements:
        • Reading: 19
        • Listening: 14
        • Speaking: 18
        • Writing: 18
    • TOEFL: Paper-Delivered Test: Minimum Overall Required Score: No minimum
      • Minimum section requirements:
        • Reading: 19
        • Listening: 14
        • Writing: 18
    • IELTS (Academic Module): Minimum Overall Required Score: 6.5
      • Minimum section requirements:
        • Reading: 6.5
        • Listening: 6.0
        • Speaking: 6.0
        • Writing: 5.5

Application Process

To be considered for the Inclusive Excellence Graduate Certificate Program, you must submit a complete application using the Admissions' online application portal and pay an application fee.  Completed applications will be reviewed after each deadline provided below:

  • Fall Application Deadline:  August 1st
  • Spring Application Deadline:  December 1st
