2022 Events
The Purdue PostDoc Association (PPDA) hosted a Christmas party on Dec. 21, 2022, attended by more than 50 postdocs and their families. Attendees enjoyed food provided by PPDA and a potluck of traditional foods from the postdoc community. Other activities included a Christmas tree decorating competition (with prizes provided by PPDA) and gift/holiday card swaps!

The Purdue Postdoc Association (PPDA) is hosting a seminar for a question-and-answer session for the academic job application process. Jason Cannon, Ph.D. from the School of Health Sciences will be the speaker for this seminar. Dr. Cannon has experience leading faculty search committees within the School of Health Sciences at Purdue. Dr. Cannon will be talking about what faculty search committees are looking for and he will share his advice for the academic job application process for postdocs who are applying for academic positions. In this section, he will answer questions that our postdocs and graduate students have regarding the academic job application process.

Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) Grant Workshops
The Indiana CTSI offers the Postdoc Challenge Grant that enables life science postdocs to use their facilities for animal studies and human trials.
To help Purdue Postdocs prepare their applications, Tommy Sors will be hosting two workshops on Wednesday, December 19th:
