Additional Information
- Current master's students wishing to move to a doctoral degree program in this same graduate program will be required to submit a new application for admission consideration.
- The PhD Office in the Daniels School of Business processes applications only for the PhD in Economics Program. The Online MS Degree Program and Graduate Certificates in Economics is processed by the Business Online Programs Team. All students in the Online MS Degree Program complete a core set of courses online during the first academic year. During the second academic year, students can either complete the MS Degree program entirely online or come to Purdue University's West Lafayette, Indiana campus and enroll as a full-time student to complete the program and obtain their MS Degree in Economics. The second option is termed as a "hybrid" program, as students complete classes in their first year from their home location (online) and in the second year in residence on the Purdue campus. If you choose the hybrid version of the online program, there is no separate application procedure.
