A full list of the courses in each of these three categories is available on the FYE website.
Other Requirements:
- Submit First-Year Engineering CODO short-answer questions. (Required for Fall 2020 CODO students forward due to COVID-19 grading policy for Spring 2020)
- Students will be admitted on a space available basis.
- A CODO GPA will be calculated based on all graded courses from the P-WL campus in Categories 1 and 2, and one graded course from the P-WL campus from Category 3 (see FYE website for information about how the Category 3 course is chosen). Note: If the category 3 course selected was taken for a Pass in Spring 2020, it will not impact the CODO GPA. If more than one course is available in a single category, the course providing the most favorable CODO GPA will be selected.
- All courses used in the calculation of the CODO GPA must have earned grades of C– or higher. Course taken P/NP will not be used in calculating the CODO GPA.
- All courses used to fulfill Category 1, 2, and 3 must be taken on the P-WL campus for a letter grade. For the Spring 2020 semester, a Pass will be accepted in lieu of a letter grade for any Category 1, 2, or 3 course.
