Daniel Foti, Ph.D. Receives Grant from the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI)

July 26, 2017

Dr. Daniel Foti, a member of the Purdue Institute for Integrative Neuroscience and Assistant Professor of Psychological Sciences, was recently awarded a $10K grant from the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) to study the implicit learning deficits in adults at high genetic risk for depression.  The group will be using the newest Purdue Life Sciences Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Facilities to study whether brain activity involved in implicit, procedural learning explains the increased risk for depression among adult women carrying the premutation of the fragile X mental retardation gene. Congratulations to Dr. Foti.
